30 Days of NaNoWriMo – Final Week!

Due to having been working out of town this past week, I wasn’t able to post my progress on NaNoWriMo. I did manage to write every day, but that was it. I’m back working in town now so I’ll do better with my posting. The following is a quick recap from the last time I posted which was on 22 Nov.

23 Nov. – I wrote 800 words

24 Nov – I wrote 1000 words. I also spent Thanksgiving with my son. He made the best turkey!

25 Nov. – I wrote 1000 words. I stayed up late writing because I couldn’t sleep. I got the count in before midnight so it counted.

26 Nov. – I wrote 800 words. I had to write before work because I was warned we’d be working late that night.

27 Nov – I wrote 300 words. I was so tired from the night before I almost didn’t write at all.

28 Nov – I wrote 400 words. I had some personal stuff to deal with on my only day off, and it didn’t put me in the writing mood.

29 Nov. – I wrote 200 words. I still had issues, and I almost didn’t write, but I was so close to the end.

30 Nov. – I wrote 460 words. I know that’s pretty odd, but I finished the story completely on the same day the event ended. I completed both of them with a grand total of 60,795 words.

I know I could’ve gotten more if I’d been in the writing mood this past weekend, but I am still pleased with the finish.

Thus ends the 30 Days of NaNoWriMo. I will be doing my own writing month in December with Golden Knave as my focus. I plan to have both it and The Inbetween published in 2021. Wish me luck and lollipops!!

See you on the flipside and don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!!
