First off, as you may or may not know, I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos featuring cross stitchers, and I cannot believe how many WIPs(Works in Progress) these folks have!! I have 2, and it’s all I can handle. Granted, I have about 5 crochet projects going on as of yesterday but still, crocheting takes much less time to do than cross stitch does.
Now, on to what you really want to read about.
The Land Baby Pt. 3
I had to stop working on this after about an hour because of back spasms. Still, I think I got all but four colors left to add to this block. I think I have about 3 1/2 more to go before the side is done. I’m enjoying how the scene is slowly emerging, and the best thing is – NO backstitching!!

In my Update at the beginning of the week, I stated I was going to do the MSAL hosted by Fox and Rabbit this year(it’s called Changing Seasons), and here is half of this month’s block.

I’ll complete the rest of it later today. I’ve had quite a few other things I’ve been working on and trying to get done. If you’d like to join in the MSAL the link is:
If you decide to do the MSAL, I recommend joining the Facebook group for it because the work those folks are doing is amazing!! I also hope you’ll share your work with me here as well because I’d love to see it!
See you all on the flipside and don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!!
Love to see your projects. I have never done cross stitch and find it facinating. Love all the pieces you do.

You should try it! I have some small charts I can email you – they’re of cats but still… I’d suggest starting with Aida until you get comfortable stitching and counting. I started with stamped projects myself, but I was also 10. I have some more projects planned once The Land Baby is done, and one of them is a cross stitch version of The Girl With the Pearl Earring. It’s on the same site as The Land Baby.

Thank you for that bit of advice about Aida. I had to look that up. LOL There would be a lot I need to learn but seems like there are quite a lot of beginner videos I could learn from. Right now I have a lot of unfinished projects I need to work on then I may give cross stitching a try. I love the pieces you have done and it motivates me to try it. Keep on stitching and posting.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll try to find some videos for you once you’re ready – if you like. 🙂 Yes, I’m okay being an enabler lol. I’d love to see what projects you’re working on! Are you still doing minis?? I may have to pick your brain once I get started on my dollhouse project later this year.

Have not been able to work on fun projects 😦 Just got some of the craft room back in order but will have to tear it apart again soon. Urgent home repair needs to be done. Still lots of doctor appointments taking up a lot of my time. Plus the effects of medications leave me exhausted and brain dead. So dollhouse, quilting, xmas ornaments all on hold right now. I’ll let you know when I get things moving again. 🙂

I’m keeping you in my prayers every morning and every evening!! Hopefully, your home will get back in order soon so maybe, that’ll help your health. Stress is nobody’s friend.
Maybe, you and I and Anita can do a small Stitch A Long when you’re feeling more like yourself 🙂

Wow that’s quite a lot of progress on Land Baby! And I really like how, in your F&R MSAL, you switch colors amongst the symmetrical motifs. I’m looking forward to seeing how you color the other half.

I just got my new router after the last one finally died so I’ll be posting the finished block soon. I’m doing more work on Land Baby too, it’s the one I most focus on.
