YouTube Tuesday: Mad Morti and a FFO!!!

First my FFO(Fully Finished Object) which is my small cross stitch cat project. I promise, there’s a link between it and Flosstuber Mad Morti. First, here’s how the project is supposed to look like:

The cat is cute, but the words are meh. So, I changed things a wee bit. *WARNING* If you’re easily offended even by innuendos, don’t scroll down any further.

For some reason, his expression fits the words lol!

Now, I chose the word “Duck” as a homage to Mad Morti, her husband David and their field of ducks. Below is the video that began a very funny running joke that I plan to keep laughing at and sharing as often as I can:

These two have a great time together, and they’re a definite relationship goal! I am ever so grateful for the recommendation to watch this couple. Below is the video that brought the stitching journery to an end for the field of ducks, but the joke will live on.

I didn’t know this was going to happen, but I do strongly encourage you to view video #17 in the playlist to see how the Field of Ducks looks as well as find out how the original designer reacted to what Mad Morti has done to hers!! I know you’ll get a laugh out of it.

I really enjoy watching this pair, and I want my own Field of Ducks now so it’s going on the Want list. 🙂

If you enjoy this wonderful couple as much as I do, please Like or Subscribe or Both and do leave a comment of some sort too. I know Morti reads them all, or as many as she can. 🙂

See you on the flipside and don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!!

YouTube Tuesday: RyRy McGuy – Stitches and Giggles

The name of the channel is what caught my attention when I saw it in my list of recommendations, and I decided to give this man a looksee.

He’s only done on Flosstube video so far, but it’s fun to watch!! He’s just so relaxed and laughs a lot. I hope he’s going to keep making videos. He has other social media I’ll be checking out as I get time. I am enjoying checking out new vloggers especially those who are stitching.

I highly recommend checking him out and encouraging him to make more videos!! Subscribe like I have, hit the Like button the way I did and leave a comment, like I’ve also done! 🙂

I’ll see you on the flipside and don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!!!

YouTube Tuesday: Priscilla and Chelsea Real Housewives of Cross Stitch

I heard about this mother/daughter duo on FlossTube from thenineoneone stitcher who is also on Flosstube. Flosstube is a group of folks on YouTube who share their love of cross stitching with everyone else in the world. No, I very much doubt I will ever join their ranks. This said, I do enjoy watching these videos, and I’ve subscribed to several.

Priscilla and Chelsea are actual mother and daughter, and they seem to have a great time together in the videos. They joke around, tease and just have a good time all while showing off their stunning work. I am actually watching their channel from the very beginning while stitching on my two projects.

I must say, I can’t see how people can simply start several projects at once without really finishing something first. That would drive me crazy. I am lucky one of my projects is a monthly thing so I complete it and then wait until the following month for the next part. This leaves me time to work on the second project.

Still, I’m sharing their very first video with you because I was so charmed by it, and I’m hoping you will be too:

I really like the creative way they finish their work too. I’ve not seen most of them before, and I want to complete one of my projects like one of theirs.

If you like the video, please Like, Comment and if you feel like it, Subscribe!! This pair is worth watching!!

See you on the flipside and don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!!

YouTube Tuesday: Fox and Rabbit on Flosstube!

For those of you who don’t know, Fox and Rabbit Designs is the producer of the Mystery Sampler Stitch-A-Long I did last year and am seriously considering doing again this year – it depends on what February’s part is going to be.

I found a lovely lady on YouTube’s Flosstube series which features different people showing off their cross stitch work. Many are designers while others, like myself, are happy stitchers who love finding new projects to do. I decided to see if I could find Fox and Rabbit on YouTube – they have a Facebook group so why not a channel on YouTube??

I found them, and I was happy to put proper names and faces to the pair!!

This is just one of their wonderful videos I’ve managed to have time to watch. I am planning to watch all of the ones I can find. They not only talk about themselves, their designs, their projects but also their animals and their personal lives – to a degree. I’ve gotten to #5 of their videos and so far, they’ve done giveaways in each one!

I am very happy to have found them, I even found a couple of places that sell their hand dyed linen. They’re not local, but they are in the same state as myself so I might be making a road trip to check out the fabrics in person!! The dyed linen I’ve seen so far are fabulous!!

I highly recommend checking them out and giving them a Like if nothing else!!

YouTube Tuesday – Creative on the Cheap

I just found this YouTuber, and I am interested in seeing more of her when I get a chance. I did watch the following video, and I thought it worth sharing just because it did have some interesting tools in it.

As always, if you like what you see by the creative behind this video, Courtney, please hit Like and at least leave a comment even if you do/don’t Subscribe. Feedback is the Holy Grail for all of us who do this kind of thing.

Let me know what kind of tools you like to use and/or use the most for your crafting. I mainly use sewing needles and crochet hooks. I don’t have a single brand I use mostly, but I do prefer DMC Moline floss for my cross stitching projects.

Twitch/YouTube Tuesdays: Bentley House Minis and the Addams Family Go to Arizona!

This is actually belated news as Ara and her Addams Family Mansion headed to Arizona shortly before Halloween this year. The mansion is on display in a museum featuring miniatures, and it will be there for just over a year! Check out the vlog post below to find out more about this fabulous honor for Ara!

Ara has worked on this mansion for a very long time! If you’re interested in watching her on her journey making this awesome iconic house, check out the Addams Family Mansion Playlist!

I am so happy for her!! I did the virtual tour of the museum as well, and it’s something I’d love to see in person when I get a chance to go out that way!

Be sure to comment on at least the vlog video to let Ara know what you think! I know, from personal experience, she pays attention to all the comments, even ones left on old videos so if you like any of the Addams Family Mansion videos, be sure to let her know there as well!!

YouTube/Twitch Tuesdays: GrimCommando95

My son has finally become an affiliate!! He’s much more relaxed with all that stress off of him, and he’s even doing chat streams now! He plays different games and takes requests.

Here’s one of his recent videos:

In this video, he’s playing Fallout with some friends. He will play with people he doesn’t know too so ask him. 🙂

I’ll be sharing more Twitch streamers as I get to know them. I am on YouTube more than Twitch, but I’ll be doing more exploring on Twitch when I can.

YouTube Tuesday:

I found a new channel I want to share. It’s run by a couple Jamie and Jay, and they make videos together that are fantastic. I found them quite by accident but after watching the video below, I had to subscribe!

This was a fantastic build that was both thrifty and way cool for Halloween!! Don’t take my word for it, check it out! If you like it, let me and the creatives know! We’d all appreciate it!

I especially love how realistic it all looks even the great wrought iron additions!

YouTube Tuesday: PixieStyx

This woman has so much fun stuff on her channel, I can’t decide on just one video to show you. She does unboxing, art supplies demos, all kinds of tutorials, colabs and so much more!!

Check her out: PixieStyx

I think you’ll really like her work, but don’t take my word for it!!

If you do drop by her channel, be sure to leave some comments, a like or two and please, subscribe to see more of her work! Creatives love feedback!!

Speaking of feedback, once you visit her, let me know what video(s) you really liked! I could use some suggestions!

YouTube Tuesday: Sippers, Trippers and Flippers

The name itself is fabulous and a real eye grabber, don’t you think? I found this wonderful YTer while I was watching Ara’s newest Beetle-gust build, on Bentley House Minis. I’m glad I took the time to watch the video once I was done with Ara’s video because this one I’m about to share is Halloween themed just in time to start planning for the holiday, and its decorations.

This video has thrift, repurposing, DIY and Halloween – everything I really enjoy watching!! I like how she tells you where she got everything as she’s putting everything out and going over it. The technique with the drawer paper was new too me so I’ve learned something new. 🙂

I really hope you enjoy this video and if you do, at least leave a comment and hit the Like button. If you don’t like it, hit the Dislike button and leave a comment(constructive criticism only please) as well. Feedback is very important to a creative, and we like hearing your thoughts on what we’re showing off. Speaking of which, feel free to leave comments on any of my posts, I read and respond to all of them.

See you on the flipside and don’t forget to bring your towel and sonic screwdriver!!
