Here is the second pattern on my bookmarked patterns to make. It’s found on ALLFREECROCHETAFGHANSPATTERNS.com, and it’s called Sky Blue Lace Crochet Pattern
This afghan is gorgeous in Country Blue, but I’m certain it would look good in any color. It has a lovely lacey look and is lightweight – perfect for Spring! I’m thinking of making mine in either a light pink or a grass green! Perfect for Easter/Ostara!
If you make this before I do, PLEASE post pictures! I’d love to see what you made! When I make it, I’ll be sure to update this post with pictures as well.
See you on the flipside and don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!!
Every so often I get all my left over yarn, the scraps, and I make something out of it. These projects usually differ in size, shape and even what they are. A while back, I decided to do something easy that would take a while to complete. It stands to reason it would since I use only scraps on it.
Anyway, this project is now complete as I took the time to gather up all my scrap yarn once again and found some time to work on the throw I’d begun work on months ago. I try very hard not to repeat the yarn I use but sometimes, it happens. The nice thing about this project is I can always add on to it when I want to make it bigger, and I don’t have to do anything more than get out my scraps.
This throw is long enough lengthwise to take up the entire futon, but it’s not wide enough from top to bottom to cover the entire thing. 🙂 Still, it makes a great cover up when I’m reading or watching television but don’t want a full blanket on me. I’ll be draping it over the back of the futon so it will be handy whenever I need it.
Let me know what you think!
I’ll see you on the flipside and don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!!
Below is my newest addition to my Etsy shop. It’s a stroller blanket. 🙂 I am working on a second large project even after I told myself I wouldn’t do another after finishing the peacock. Still, the new project is proving to be fun to make so I’ll continue with it.
Please, visit my shop and tell your friends about it too. I do take some commissions so it doesn’t hurt to ask, either here or at the shop. I’m using the money to save up for a car so I can move out of the motel I’m currently living in and get into a place more secure. I also can’t have my furbaby Oliver with me, and I miss her a lot!
The shop’s name is Griffin’s Market. Yes, I realize it’s not a terribly creative name, but I wasn’t looking for creative when I started the shop. My wares are my creation.
With that I bid you all adieu. I’ll catch you on the flipside and as always, don’t forget your towel and sonic screwdriver!
